Abstract

Based  on   preliminary   observations   made   at   the  Office   of   the   Human   Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) found satisfaction of employee performance that is still not optimal. The purpose of the study (1) To determine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) Jambi Province. (2) To find out Job Insecurity can moderate the relationship between job satisfaction to the performance of employees of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) Jambi Province.  The  research  approach  that  will  be  used  in  this  research  is  a  quantitative approach. In this study using independent variables, dependent variables, and moderating variables. The results of this study using simple regression analysis that has been done shows that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is indicated by the level of significance of the variable Job satisfaction value of 0.000 (<0.05). the regression coefficient value is 0.498. this means that the higher job satisfaction, the more employee performance will increase, the results of multiple regression analysis with moderation variables (interaction test) show that Job Insecurity affects the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance. This is indicated by the level of significance of the interaction variable between job satisfaction and job insecurity with a value of 0.000 (<0.05). The regression coefficient value is 0.05.
