NILAI SOSIAL DALAM PANTUN ACARA SERAH TERIMA MEMPELAI PRIA PADA ADAT PERKAWINAN DAERAH TEBO

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the values ​​contained in the rhyme for the handover ceremony of the groom in the Tebo regional marriage custom. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Content Analysis method. The data and data sources in this study are in the form of words, sentences, stanzas, lines in rhymes, the data source in this study is the Village Traditional Institution Training Module compiled by the Tebo District Community and Village Empowerment Office. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are 6 (six) social values ​​found in 10 (ten) rhymes. The social values ​​contained in the rhyme for the ceremony of handing over the groom in the traditional marriage ceremony of the Tebo area, namely, (1) family values, (2) caring values, (3) respect values, (4) affection values, (5) responsibility values, and (6) compatibility value.
